Ifølge IOC og dansk fuglenavne har den fået artsnavnet "Bubo ascalaphus), Pharaoh eagle owl, Ørkenhornugle.

Beautiful picture! Jan and Leif argue that the Pharaoh eagle owl is a separate species (Bubo ascalaphus) and that netfugl should add this species to the drop down species list.
