Beskrivelse: On the garden fence, in the shade

Beskrivelse: Close-up. Waiting for hours to spot the Western Spindalis seen at the location now and then during the week... this little beauty became a possibility when a friendly and curious lot-owner asked what I was doing with all the technical gear in his neighbourhood. Following my explanation he invited me for a walk in his big 'wilderness-garden"... no regrets accepting this invitation :-).. Also in his 'garden' a pair of Red-Shouldered Hawk's with their offspring.

Beskrivelse: Hard to approach... 3 shots on the distance, but few pictures on 'Netfugl' so I suggest an up-load. This vireo is often associated with mangrove- this apperance was in-land in scrub.

Beskrivelse: In an big over-grown garden east of Cocodile Lake National Wildlife Reserve this young bird was given a small frog by one of the parents. The adult birds were observed to catch and eat medium sized Iguanas - but the young one was only given small prey. In the garden also breeding Eastern Screech-Owl
