Hey David nice picture you got there:) but i mean its a thickbilled murre because the thick bill and the black very dark brown not the lightere brown the common murre have and the white line on the side at the bill. Ragnar

Ragnar, a very good comment. I would, however, most likely never consider a common murre having such a brownish head. Furthermore, the "white line" should have been more prominent on a thick-billed, or...? The Bill itself looks pretty heavy indead, but it might be due to the angle of the photo.
