Titel: When not flying this male Silky-flycatcher often looks plain black, but it has big white wing patches visible when flying. Here one can see part of the white even if the bird is resting in the not yet out leafed mesquite.

Beskrivelse: This bird has interesting and 'one of a kind' features both feeding and breeding - it's worth reading about it ! One do not reguarly find the bird much further north than Ash Meadows in Nevada.
