Beskrivelse: Seen in scrub land near the town. A taxon with a rather restricted range and even if present not so bold and out in the open. A lot of the time on the ground in the shade under the bushes in the dead plant material. Also called other family names such as <i>Kieneria</i> or <i>Melozone</i>. Avibase mentiones that the ssp. here is in to a further split - ssp. <i>vorhiesi</i> (Tucson area).
