Beskrivelse: At Bharatpur during winter it is a superb experience when confronted with numerous Taiga and Red-breasted Flycatchers. Identification is however relatively easy when the bird is found, as both species most often give them selves away with their individually characteristic calls. A slow, barely countable five-note rattle in Red-breasted and a twice as fast and drier rattle in Taiga Flycatcher. Note: All dark bill, overall cold tone to plumage with greybrown upperparts (warmer in Red-breasted) and light grey throat and breast. Black uppertail-coverts, whitish tips to greater coverts and tertials. The spot-like white dots in tertial tips rather than just a fringe indicates 1'st winther Taiga.
