Beskrivelse: It is a strange looking bird, buff tone, no white belly... The bird arrived at the same time than a American Great White Egret, could it be coming from same place !?! Any comments are welcome.
Though I'm really not an expert this dark and heavy streaked bird looks very much like an individual from North America or The Antilles.. As you almost suggest yourself.
For separating the birds from The Antilles from those of N.A. you might have to get a look at the back too. Antillean birds have fine streaks on the lower part of the belly and are darker than N.A. birds, on the back, with "distinct buffy spots on scapulars" (Sibley).
After having watched some more photos, my guess would be an individual from North America, since the wings have clearly white spots and the streaking of the belly reaches the legs.

Beskrivelse: No new birds today out of American Golden Plover and Waxwing sp "juvenile-type".
It's for that we tried to found waders along the Airfield. In same time we have chance to have decent view of the cormorant fishing under very big waves.
