Great thanks !! YANN,
An Xtremely Elegant, 'modernistic, black simplicity/
even fashion' photo of this vivid bird,
Here with slender(!) almost Swift-like wings,
Demonstrating its long legs w/Yellow rear light,
webs,
Over Calm water,
In impeccable plumage, in spite of being a
tiny looong-distance traveller from Antarctic
and Southern Seas - a Rare explorer of Iceland.
Among seamen, Storm Petrels were Mother Carey's
(the Blessed Virgin Mary´s) Chickens.
I guess You felt blessed after this photo.
BR .............. Yours C.

Sæll Yann!
Very nice pics of the wilsons! Did it follow a fishing vessel? Quite a nice record for Iceland. Lets hope it passes by the Faroes on its way home :-)

Sæll Silas,
Takk fyrir þetta! This was really a great observation. We were on a small boat and used liver oil and shark liver for chumming. At one point we saw many european storm-petrels and decided to throw out some oil. First bird to come in was the Wilson's and it stayed with us for almost an hour!
