Titel: Seram Masked Owl (<i>Tyto almae</i>)

Beskrivelse: The moment I always have been dreaming about. Once I had Lesser Masked Owl named as my dream species here on Netfugl. Then in 2012, Knud and I put up a mist-net at 1,350 m in Manusela National Park in Seram. When we returned we found this Tyto in the net. I thought we had caught a Lesser Masked Owl, the first for Seram, but this is a species new to science, which we now have described in the journal Zootaxa: <a href='http://www.mapress.com/zootaxa/2013/f/z03635p061f.pdf'>http://www.mapress.com/zootaxa/2013/f/z03635p061f.pdf</a>.
