Titel: the surfbirds of Vardø

Beskrivelse: Every year, during the two first weeks of August, the Sandvika beach in Vardø is the favoured place for young Red-necked Phalaropes. Max number I have registered is 600 birds (allmost all 1st-year birds) around the beach and the nearby breakwater (molo). more photos at: http://blog.biotope.no/2011/10/surfbirds-of-vard.html
