Thanks for a Superior photo of this species, MIKAEL, waiting - with Fine colours - in a shaft of sunlight. ______________________________ Spontaneously one may ask: Which FAMILY could this long-legged bird, walking & RUNNING(!) on a shady Asian forest floor, belong to?? Length 27 inches - incl. 14" tail. Well, it's a Cuckoo (Carpococcyx). Quite amazing, sharing e.g. Big size, long legs and tail(!) + blue eye patch + RUNNING with another very large member of Cuculidae - in a DRY environment in another part of the World: The Mexican Greater Roadrunner (Geococcyx)! Length 23" (Amr.inches). Kd rgds .......... C.

I saw 3 and heard another 8, but on my "best" picture it is barely recognizable as a bird :-)
