Beskrivelse: Started off from Kyanjin Gompa (3850m) at six in the morning. The goal was to scale Kyanjin Ri at 4773 metres above sea level. At around 4300m we encountered a group of very noisy Tibetan Snowcocks. Since the sun had yet to touch the grassy slopes I started stalking the snowcocks slowly uphill untill they were lit up by the sun. A very arduous off-track climb indeed, but so worth it=)!
