Superb picture!Is this a juvenile bird(1cy)? I remember having seen a very similar dark one in Laos a few years ago.

Thanks for the comments, Tomas and Dirk. I believe it is a juvenile - very fresh plumage and extensive yellow base to the bill. There was a good passage of these birds on Happy Island last week on the first clear day after 3 days of rain.
