Dear Tomas Lundquist,
In my opinion - No need for translation, contempt or misunderstanding.
Without consulting Lars Borremark I’m convinced about his best intentions. “Hipposvin" might for some residents of Copenhagen (BZ'ere) or Danish people remembering the Second World War, associate a different meaning than LB express...
Of course hipposvin in this case is an expression affectionate – Hippo(lais)svin.
The contempt expressed by other birders is unnecessary.
It’s a great picture illustrating excellent field ID for caligata.
Thanks!
Kind regards

Hi all!
It is just as MWA described!
It was my way to play around with the latin name Hippo and the word "svin" was to indicate "a cute little rare mean skulky bird". I was simply amazed by this great photo and had no intention at all to put any kind of political point of views on the agenda. Thanks for the photo - indeed a great shot.
Sincerely,
Lars
