Titel: Comparison of Eastern Olivaceous Warbler (top) and Caspian Reed Warbler (bottom)
Beskrivelse: Comparison of Eastern Olivaceous Warbler (probably ssp. elaeica) and Caspian Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus fuscus)
Since both immatures and adults of both species undergo a complete moult during winter, they are easily aged as 2cy+ in spring.
The Reed Warbler was ringed March 23rd and the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler May 7th.
Both species migrate through Israel in spring, peaking in April and thus represent an identification challenge when not in the hand.
