Beskrivelse: This is one of 2 River Warblers seen on the NW shore of Lake Langano 22/4-2011. There are very few (if any?) other field observations of this species in Ethiopia. "Birds of Ethiopia & Eritrea" by Ash and Atkins 2009, mentions only 15 records - all caught and ringed birds. It is possible that a large part of the population of European River Warblers pass through Ethiopia in spring and autumn.
