Beskrivelse: The bird was found at 1.20 pm and was last seen at 6.09 pm when it apparently migrated NNE towards Sweden. Only 35 Danish birders managed to catch up with this bird since it was not until 5.00 pm that the identification had been confirmed and the sun sets at 5.39 pm. During its stay it was seen at very close range - down to 5 metres where it could be photographed as well.
The first Danish record concerned a bird found dead on the extraordinarily early date of 10th of March 1993 at Kirke Helsinge,
Sjælland.
